Cinq Mondes uses the powers of Chinese pharmacopoeia in its Ointments of Youth®, to restore hydration, prevent dehydration wrinkles and more generally, skin ageing.
This Ointment of Youth® is specially formulated for normal to combination skin, with a clean antioxidant and hydrating formula. Its light, fluid texture moisturises and matifies the skin.
Plant-based Hyaluronic Acid® obtained from the fermentation of lactic acid bacteria adapted to a renewable plant substrate, is a biomimetic ingredient. Applied to the epidermis, this heavy molecular-weight Hyaluronic acid forms a non-occlusive film that regulates perspiration and protects the skin from outside aggression. Thanks to its hygroscopic properties, it maintains cutaneous water and acts as a water reservoir for the skin.
Also called Japanese Blood Grass, Imperata Cylindrica® is a tall grass from South East Asia. This plant has been patented as it is naturally rich in Potassium and Dimethylsulfoniopropionate (DMSP), and enables the skin to maintain its hydration level for 24 hours. Indeed, Potassium provides the cell with an environment of balanced water input and output; DMSP enables the cell to trap water, thus maintaining its hydration capital.
Morning and evening, apply 1 to 2 pumps to a cleansed and dried face and neck. Massage from the centre of the face outwards using circular movements, then from the base of the neck to the chin. Use alone or with your Cinq Mondes serum. Avoid contact with eyes.
WU ZETIAN,
was the only women to rule as an empress in the history of China: she was Empress from 690 to 705. Not only did she have a steely temperament, but she was also an incredibly beautiful woman. To preserve her youthful complexion, she would apply her face with ointments made from Chinese plants found in the “Pansa’o” Chinese Pharmacopoeia with antioxidant and rejuvenating effects (Ginseng, Chinese Angelica, Sophora Japonica, etc.)
